Connie (Burkhardt) Silvers says: The lady who you could not identify at the park is Carol Simonson, the wife of the late Steve Simonson who died of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) last December. The City Hall where I work has been named in his honor. The Steve Simonson Foundation was established to help raise funds and find a cure for ALS.
